A chav is not like a sovok at all! A chav is a member of the nouveau middle class and is more like a gopnik (as the article title indicates). Sovoks, on the other hand, still believe they are living in the Soviet Union, like my building administrator and the babushka who berated me yesterday for not knowing where the nearest Sberkassa was.
