Yeltsin is dead. I will truly miss him. But I am not sure that I will remember him as "a man on the tank," as CNN is porttraying him … :

"One of the images most associated with Yeltsin is that of him sitting on a tank during the raucous street rallies that marked the coup attempt.

"I think that is the image that he would like people to have forever," former Yeltsin adviser Alexander Nekrassov told CNN Monday."

Let me go out on a limb here and propose that most of my countrymen will remember the dancing and drunk Yeltsin, rather than Yeltsin the democrat. And just to make my point clear, here are a couple of noteworthy videos …
